Once we receive your referral from your PCP’s office, one of our amazing team members will reach out by phone to schedule your new patient appointment!
However, you are more than welcome to call our office at 940-766-8807 anytime, to schedule an appointment.

We do our best at Summit Pain and Wellness to schedule patient appointments in a timely manner. We try to get patients in to see one of our providers within a week or two of receiving your referral. Please be aware that wait times may be longer due to the increasing number of referrals coming into our office.

We accept most major insurance policies at Summit Pain and Wellness. We also accept self pay patients as well.

We ask all patients to bring their driver’s license and insurance card(s) to your appointment.
This allows us to have the correct insurance information needed to obtain any prior authorizations for procedures.

All paperwork will be completed on the day of your visit.
If you need help, one our staff members will be glad to assist you with filling out the paperwork.
We try to make this an easy process for each of our patients.

When you arrive at Summit Wellness and Pain, one of our dedicated team members will help you with the check in process. We will collect your driver’s license and insurance card to place in your chart. The paperwork for your visit will be started at this time.
Then one of our staff members will take you back to your exam room where vitals will be taken. A nurse will review your symptoms and medical history.
Your Pain Management Provider will then come and visit with you, complete some assessments to see where exactly that pain is generating from. During this time, our provider will also review any imaging such as MRI’s, CT’s, or X-Rays and discuss the best treatment plan for you.
If any procedure is recommended, we will then get a prior authorization.
Once we have that approval, we will call and schedule your procedure.

No problem at all! We have multiple facilities that we partner with to provide these services! If there is a certain facility you would like to use, we will be glad to accommodate those requests.
The neat thing about our main office in Wichita Falls is that we are located right next door to the radiology department in the Clinics of North Texas!
This allows us to bring the ultimate treatment care under one roof.
